I discovered the QQeStore when trying to purchase some replica football (as it’s known elsewhere in the world) jerseys for my soccer team. They came up in a Google product search (aka Froogle). They had great prices listed in Froogle and when I looked for some information on this company they received high marks from the likes of cNet and other (formerly) reputable review websites.
Why They Are Crap That Pisses Me Off:
- After spending time on their website, I still don’t know where this company is actually located. They are obviously making a point to hide it, and why? Prices on the site are listed in “Brunei Dollars” and a Google Maps search provided me with this, which really just shows a whole lot of nothing.
- The price they have listed in Froogle is very different from the price listed on their website. They came up first in my Froogle search and I am now disapointed that this one got through the Google monster. Froogle listed price: $71.96 USD; QQeStore listed price: $100.74 USD. This has been updated, likely as a result of my emails.

- Their “Match-The-Price Request” is a crock of shit. This screenshot from their website shows their price match request.

I asked them to match their own price listed in Froogle, which was 30% lower than the price listed on their website. They refused saying “We regret to inform you that our match-the-price policy only applicable to local orders (Brunei Darussalam). International order will be coming soon.” I mean, who the fuck lives in Brunei Darussalam anyway? According to Wikipedia, about 381,371. There are that many people living in many suburbs of the many American cities. They claim to me an online retailing giant, but how can they be when they only treat the small number locals fairly. - I was being nice with my price match request by asking them to match their own advertised price. This jersey was available through reputable retailers for less. The only problem for me was that these were last year’s jerseys and most places were sold out of the smaller sizes. I’m the kind of person that gets something done if it needs to get done. Although I usually order from Eurosport, they would not special order the jersey for me. Soccer Scene finally came through for me at a price lower than all of the others and I will remember that! The screen shot below shows them out of stock for some sizes, but they weren’t when I ordered.
What ever happened to “The customer is always right”? Has online retailing taken all human kindness away from the shopping experience? I refuse to deal with companies who treat me like they are doing me a favor by taking my money and charging me an arm and a leg for shipping. DON’T BUY FROM THE QQESTORE. Their prices, service, and ethics suck.
